About Baba Kenny Loh
Baba Kenny Loh is the founder and CEO of Kenny Loh Couture. A multiple award-winning fashion designer and entrepreneur, Baba Kenny Loh wants to ensure the rich legacy of his family, the Peranakan Baba Nyonya culture is not lost in time. Hence, after ten years as a nutritionist after graduating with a Master’s degree, Kenny decided to fully utilize his fashion skills by setting up Kenny Loh Couture. A self-taught designer, Kenny learned the making nyonya kebaya with embroidery and beaded shoes from the elderly. He is one of the few artisans in nyonya kebaya tailoring and embroidery in the region. His artistry is widely recognized by high profile clients and even corporate clients like Firefly and Malaysia Airlines – both even collaborated with Kenny under their CSR programmed.
